MOMENT Contemporary Art Center is a place that brings extraordinary moments into people's everyday lives through artistic endeavors. Artistic activity is the act of creating history. Artists engage with their times to produce works, while viewers discern which pieces should be preserved for future generations. The collective efforts of both parties constitute art, and their accumulation serves as an archive of the societies we have lived in, ultimately becoming part of human history. By sharing and exchanging opinions about the insights that artists, with their sharp sensibilities, capture from nature and society, people are guided toward rational and thoughtful reflection.

At MOMENT, we focus not only on supporting artists but also on cultivating viewers by organizing an artist-in-residence program that creates opportunities to engage with artists from Japan and abroad. We also host exhibitions for discovery and dialogue, as well as workshops, talk events, and other activities.
