栗林隆
Takashi KURIBAYASHI
1968年、長崎県出身。東西統合から間もない1992年よりドイツに滞在、その頃より「境界」をテーマにドローイング、インスタレーション、映像など多様なメディアを使いながら作品を発表。現在は日本とインドネシアを往復しながら国際的に活動する。近年では、個展「栗林隆：Roots」（神奈川県立近代美術館、2024）、ドクメンタ15（ドイツ、カッセル、2022）、瀬戸内国際芸術祭2019、「Enfance/こども時代」展（パレ・ド・トーキョー、パリ、2018）などに参加。2020年の下山芸術の森 発電所美術館（富山県）の個展から《元気炉》シリーズに取り組み、《元気炉ー六号基 大谷》（栃木県宇都宮市、2024）が常設作品として稼働中。

Born in 1968, and grew up in Nagasaki, Japan. Awarded Meisterschuler at the Kunstakademie in Dusseldorf in 2002. While staying in Germany after its reunion, his working theme for projects has been “boundaries”.
He has been working with wide range of material including drawing, installation, and video, and participated number of international and domestic exhibitions. Recent major activities are, the solo exhibition Takashi Kuribayashi: Roots (The Museum of Modern Art, Hayama, 2024), Documenta 15 (Kassel, Germany, 2022), the Setouchi Triennale 2019, and the exhibition Enfance / Childhood(Palais de Tokyo, Paris, 2018). Since his 2020 solo exhibition at the Nizayama Forest Art Museum in Toyama, he has been developing the Genki-ro series. Genki-ro /No. 6 Oya (Oya stone quarry ruins, Utsunomiya, Tochigi, 2024) is currently operating as a permanent installation.
